Podcast #16: If You Squint a Bit, Baseball’s a LARP

We are about to drop a knowledge bomb: you are a LARPer. Your friends are LARPers. Your parents, grandparents…hell, even your significant other(s). All LARPers. Maybe you don’t identify as such. Yet. But here’s the thing: we guarantee you that you do it. In one form or another, you LARP. Join Pete Steele and Rick Hendricks as they discuss how ubiquitous LARPing, in one form or another, truly is.

From hitting people out in the woods with foam swords to office politics, everyone LARPs. So why not get on board, do away with the stigma, and accept the reality of the situation? And heck, wouldn’t it be grand if we all lived in a world where it was socially acceptable to say to Office Doug, “Hey Office Doug, let’s scarf out lunch and then venture into the woods just east of the office park and hit each other with foam pool noodles in the name of freeing the citizens of the seaside hamlet of Drey.” Yeah. That would be awesome. Podcast lunch breaks are for newbies. Except our podcast. Definitely listen to us. Then venture out in the woods. We hope to see you there soon.
