Vagrantsong

Trains, especially old steam locomotives, have been infused with an ethos of romanticism, adventure, and enchantment. From the Orient Express, which traveled the length of continental Europe all the way into western Asia, to the Super Chief ("The Train of the Stars") in the United States, which connected Los Angeles, California, to Chicago, Illinois, trains have captured our hearts, our minds, and our souls.

Trains connect the known to the unknown (all of which is observer relative, of course), and transform the very idea of prolonged overland travel from something that is only for the stoutest of heart and most daring and often resulted in death, to a exciting yet achievable dude-ranch-type experience.

Enter: Vagrantsong (2022), designed by Matt Carter, Justin Gibbs, Kyle Rowan and published by Wyrd Miniatures. Players will take on the role of a vagrant trapped on a supernatural ghost train, the Silver Ferryman, where they will face off against haints and uncover secrets along the way. Join Pete as he unboxes Vagrantsong, a tactical dungeon crawler combined with a scenario-driven narrative adventure of song combined with an overland adventure of the soul.
